READ ALL ABOUT IT !!!!

This past week we have been  reading a variety of literary text. We have talked about poems, drama, and prose.  We have thoroughly discussed the structural elements of each one.  I would like to hear what the major differences between poems, drama, and prose. How does the way the text is set up help you as a reader?

  1. The differences between a poem,a drama, and a prose is that all of them are different.A poem has groups of words called stanzas. Some poems rhyem just like Dr.Suess.A drama has a list of characters and it has a scriped. In a drama people act and sometimes in frount of a group of people.A prose is just a normam story.
All it has is sentences and paragraphs. All of them have different stuff and that is the differences between all of them.

    1. I like how you added an example. Dr. Seuss does rhyme a lot in his stories.

  6. The differences between a prose, drama, and a poem are that a prose has characters, setting dialougue, puchuation, sentences, and mood. A drama has a cast of characters, setting, and stage directions. A poem has stanza, rythm, verse, and meter.
The way a prose helps me as a reader is beacuse it has characters, setting, dialougue, punchuation, sentences, and mood. A drama has a cast of characters, setting, and stage directions, and if it didn't have that I wouldn't know who everybody was or where it takes place. A poem helps me as a reader because it has stanza, rythm, verse, and meter.☺☻♥♦♣♠•

  7. Poems help me as a reader beause they have stanzas. Stanzas help me keep my place when i'm done reading. A drama helps me as a reader beause if it didn't have a cast of characters , a setting , and dialogue I wound't know who the characters are and were the story the story took place. If it didn't have dialogue I woundn't know who was talking. Prose help me beause it has conflict , sentences , and paragraphs. If it didn't have all that stuff the story wound be all wrong.
