This past week we have been  reading a variety of literary text. We have talked about poems, drama, and prose.  We have thoroughly discussed the structural elements of each one.  I would like to hear what the major differences between poems, drama, and prose. How does the way the text is set up help you as a reader?

Social Studies - Let's Compromise!!

This past week we have been discussing important compromises that the delegates at the constitutional convention had to make.  We have discussed:

The Virginia Plan

The New Jersey Plan

The Great Compromise

We have also been reading about these important compromises in our social studies text and other informational passages.  Describe how people make compromises.  Why do you think it was important for the delegates at the constitutional convention to make compromises?  I look forward to reading about your thinking!!!!
